The Coronas have established themselves as one of Ireland’s biggest bands. Since they formed in 2005 their high energy live shows have made them one of the country’s most popular concert attractions. The band have sold out an impressive 6 nights in Dublin’s Olympia in December 2011, and with 2 platinum-selling albums under their belts, The Coronas are now ready to take their place on the world stage.
The Coronas have just released their third album “Closer to you” and the first single “Addicted to Progress” is available now to download.
The New York Post lists The Coronas as “One Of The Top 10 Artists To Know In 2011”, and with a headline U.S tour set for February 2012, The Coronas certainly are the band to look out for this year.
· As one of the hottest live bands, they headlined Ireland’s Oxegen Festival this summer playing in front of a crowd of 30,000 and have also played many major UK festivals including Isle of Wight and Hard Rock Calling winning over a legion of new fans.
·The Coronas opened for Sir Paul McCartney in Dublin and also shared the stage with him at the Isle of Wight festival last summer. They have also opened for Pink and others in Europe.
·In this short time the band have even managed to perform sell out dates in South East Asia, Australia and the U.S.
·Hit singles include “San Diego Song”, “Someone Else’s Hands” and “Won’t Leave You Alone”.
